The Placemat
This is the placemat.
We use it to show how to turn the cube, which face to turn and in what direction to
turn that face.
Hold your cube infront of the placemat or put it
it on top of the placemat if you have downloaded a physical copy.
The cube must remain stationary in relation to placemat.
Each section or ray of the placemat relates to one of the faces
of the cube. Each surface of the cube has a blue and a red section of
the placemat attributed to it. Red means that face is to be turned once time
in the clockwise direction, if you were looking directly at that side,
and a blue section means that the corresponding face should be turned once in an
anticlockwise direction.
The two sections at the top of the placemat red and blue indicate that the player should turn the Top face of
the cube clcokwise or anticlockwise respectively.
The two sections on the right side of the placemat red and blue indicate a clcokwise or an anticlockwise turn of the right side face.
The two sections at the bottom of the placemat red and blue indicate a turn of the front face of
the cube clcokwise or anticlockwise respectively.
Lastly the red section on the left side of the placemat is an
indication to turn that left face clockwise. The blue section on the
left side of the placemat is an instruction to make a anticlockwise turn of
the left face of the cube.
The Sigils
superimposing a sigil over the placemat reveals a sequence of turns that if when followed
will change the cube from its current state to a next, more desired state that
brings the cuber closer to solving the cube with the excecuting of each sigil.
